The new cool trend for children's gifts is BIG NAME notes.

You can easily create these great products in PE Pro by following these steps:
Click on New Document / New Card
(If you are a Creation Station user, you can use the pre-set template and skip this section

Section 1
Type in the measurements for an informal note
Width: 5.5
Height: 8.25
Left Margin: 0.20
Right Margin: 0.20
Top Margin: 4.33
Bottom Margin: 0.20
Click OK
Click OK on the font confirmation
Section 2
Your card will appear on screen with one text box. Now you can create your border. (If you are using the Creation Station blank template, click on the Text icon on your toolbar to create the new text box.)
· Click on the blue area to switch to Page Mode
· Right click on the text box to display the Text Box Layout dialog box
· Click on the Border button
· Click on the Type of border you want (Normal, Rounded or Elliptical)
· Click on the Style of border you want (the default is None, choose either Solid, Dash or Dot)
· Click on the Color button
· Type in your desired color values or click on one of the color boxes
· Click OK
· Move the handle on the slide bar to the right or left to increase or decrease the width of the border
· Click OK
· Click OK
Section 3
Your card will now be displayed with the border going around the text box. Now you are ready to add the name. The AlphaBend feature allows you to bend and shape the text as you wish.
· Click on the AlphaBend icon on your toolbar
· Type in the name you want to print on the note card
· Choose the font, font size, and font attributes that you wish
· Choose the Style you want (i.e., Wave, etc.)
· Click on the arrows next to Angle to slant the Alphabend as desired
· Click OK
Click and drag the AlphaBend to the middle of the text box with the border. You can make it bigger or smaller by clicking on Enlarge/Reduce Objects icon on your toolbar. If you want to change the AlphaBend, right click on it to display the AlphaBend Layout dialog box.
Section 4
You can easily match the color of the AlphaBend to the border by using Color Pick and Transfer eye dropper. Follow these steps:
· Left click once on the AlphaBend so that you have the marching dotted lines surrounding it
· Click on the Color Pick and Transfer eye dropper in the upper right hand corner of your screen
· Position the eye dropper over the border
· Right click
· Left click on Apply to All Colors
· The AlphaBend will match the border color
Section 5
You can also apply a Blend, Rainbow or Color Wash to your AlphaBend. Detailed instructions on using AlphaBends are available in multimedia tutorials F20 and F25 and also beginning on page 99 of your 7.x User Guide
