Do you currently have any of our image library albums or a browser displaying our Creation Station collections? If yes, you may have noticed some of the tags at the bottom of the samples and wondered what they mean. Here are some examples of these tags and what they can tell you and your customers.
Each tag has the 4 digit SKU number, and a 2 letter indicator of the card size. Next is the album where the other pieces of the family are located. In the following sample, the album is referred to by the icon on it's spine.

Just how do you change a HUE? A very popular question. To manually change the hue color of a monochromatic design, simply open the card through the New Library Card Icon , type in the design number and click OK. Right when the card first opens, you will see a slide bar for the hue color on the top toolbar, where you might usually change the font.
Sliding this bar from left to right will display the different colors that this image is able to change to. You can also use this tool for any image of your own that you wish to change as well. After inserting or adding an image to your document using the Insert Image icon , simply click on it to be sure it is selected and there is a moving dashed border around the image. Then you may use the same slide bar to change the hue the same way.

Summer is just around the corner…..the season for fun in the sun! Children are out of school and ready to play. Adults are breaking out their barbeques and cleaning the pool. Time for you to capitalize on this "hot" season by offering a wide range of summer products for every celebration!
The ideas below feature icons and patterns from our Write in Style collection. This fun and hip collection is not only ideal for year-round celebrations, but it is especially hip and fun for events during spring and summer! With bright, colorful patterns and icons that can be used for personal stationery or swanky party invitations...plus full-color icons that are ideal for multiple themes and events!
Shown here is a quick, but eye-catching barbeque invitation that we created using two different summer images - a hot dog and hamburger (click on the picture for a larger view). We’ve angled the hot dog and hamburger and placed them in the corners of a white horizontal marquis card, and added fun text using PE Poodle and PE Modelic fonts. Using multiple text boxes and the alphabend feature, we’ve worked the text around the design.
Continuing the same theme, we’ve paired the grill imagery on a white folded notecard to make personal stationery.
The imagery from Write in Style can be used very small or very large, so you can take a single icon, such as the beach ball, and put it on a card as the full design. Simply add text boxes and angle them over the image so you can place the text inside the beach ball! We used PE Rigger to make a splash with a truly unique twist on an average pool party!
Using an all-over pattern from the same collection, we created a simple, but fun "Cabana Party" invitation. With PE Jukebox as the font for this cool event, we’ve easily made the TEXT the main focus of the card. (An idea that is exploding in popularity)!
And last, but certainly not least…....a "Back-to-School" party idea. What better way for a child to have one last bash before the school year starts? We’ve combined a school bus image with a dark blue bordered text box to create a quick but very cute invitation. We used PE Smidge (a juvenile, hand written font) as the main text and then added accents between lines of text using the letter "O" from Elastic Wrath.
All these ideas and more are available using this fun collection and at a very reasonable price! With a total of 96 patterns in 3 different sizes and 148 images in tons of different themes, you can use this collection, year-round for multiple events.

Looking for a way to organize your customer’s files?
Our printing department finds it very helpful to organize their files by the last name of their clients -- the name that the ORDER carries which may be different than the name on the invitation.
For organization, you can either create a folder for each letter of the alphabet ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ etc. or group letters ‘A - D’, etc. In this way, it will be easy to find Maria Anderson’s wedding invitations in the "A" folder and Gary Zimmer’s bachelor party invitations in the ‘Z’ folder. We do NOT recommend saving files by type of event or by date.
To manuvear through the SAVE and SAVE AS menu quickly: When you click SAVE while working on a card, by default PE Pro automatically directs you to a "Documents" folder in the PE Software directory. In the SAVE window, you can see all the files you have saved here in the past. In our example, we created a SUB FOLDER called Client Files, in which we created sub folders for ‘A - D’, ‘E - H’, etc. which is where the files are stored.
In addition to giving your document a name in this menu, there are also icons giving you more options. To the right of the ‘Save In’ dropdown menu (our example reads ‘Client Files’) you will see 4 icons. The first allows you to view the last folder visited. The second takes you up one level to a different folder. The third allows you to create a new folder. And the last icon allows you to adjust the way the items are viewed in each folder.
By choosing the New Folder icon you can create separate folders to organize your client’s orders.
If you have a lot of files, this may help reduce the time it takes to open the ‘Documents’ folder.
With the proper organization, you can save time and find every item you create without the hassle of sifting through files you have accumulated over time!
