Using Free Images
PE PRO includes several borders, decorative accents, fonts and other designs elements to help you make a wide range of custom products and designs. This creative tip is designed to show you several features built in to PE PRO that you may not have known about. There are other ways to do some of the things we are showing you, but we wanted to introduce you to functions and features so that you can use them on your own designs.
Invitations using our specialty fonts

Setting up the card
. 1) Click on the New Document icon

and then on the Image Library Card icon

and click Browse

  . 2) Open the PE Blank Templates folder, select the Marquis Card Vertical (4"x9 1/8") template and click Open

  . 3) Right click on the card, click Layout and set your left, right, top and bottom margins all to 0.25

  . 4) Insert a text box using this icon

and select CBD Celebration Dings Three, 200 pt. and forest green color

Inserting and adjusting the "ding" image
. 5) Click inside text box and insert Christmas tree icon using character map

  . 6) Browse through the tabs. Right click on each of the icons to enlarge and left click to insert. Click on the X to close the character map.

  . 7) Change point size to 200 pt. and adjust text box as needed. You may need to adjust the size of the text box to allow for the large point size of the Christmas Tree

Add desired text
  . 8) In page made, insert a second text box, select Minya Nouvelle font, 14 pt. and cranberry color, click OK

  . 9) Click and drag the text box to position (under the tree).

  . 10) Then click inside to switch to text mode and enter text

  . 11) Insert the dot or other separator as desired. The dot between paragraphs in this example is in the Minya Nouvelle font. (You also can use the character map

again to insert this as well)

Adjust anything in the invitation as desired.

You have now created an invitation using only fonts and several of the tools and features of PE PRO.
